Great post for looking into MHA. It looks like Yves ripped out the code as stated above for the ocf agent and was wondering if you found an alternative for your config. Obviously were things stop on the above example. I was also wondering if you could post you CIB file for corosync. Was wondering how you handled split-brain scenarios.

It is written into (or being written into) the Pacemaker handler code (patch) written by Yves Trudeau. (search for MHA) There is a check box in the handler details for MHA support but it doesn't seem to call any code at this time.

 https://raw.github.com/y-trudeau/resource-agents/master/heartbeat/mysql

I also see Yves has moved about a month ago to:

 https://github.com/ClusterLabs/resource-agents

and I don't see this support there. Maybe the work will fall to me.

Yes. Wow, I read and re-read and still I miss these things.

With the work I've been doing on mytop I think they are more separate tools. I've been working to make mytop more focused on myisam and replication. We use a lot of myisam in my office.

"I would be amiss if I didn’t say something about innotop. Some consider this a predecessors to mytop. It is of you are using InnoDB. I still find mytop useful. More than half of my tables are MyISAM."

I still don't understand how you think it's a predecessor :) It was created years afterwards, not before, and has all of the same MyISAM functionality, plus about 20x more functionality for other things. Well, to each his own :)
